Symphonic Metal Band THE HUMAN TRAGEDY release new single "Zyklon H"
Kentucky symphonic death metal band The Human Tragedy have released the first single from their upcoming second album Awakening. The track is titled "Zyklon H" and is the first song released to feature the band's new vocalist Brian Kelly.
The track mostly stays within the band's established symphonic death metal style with an orchestral arrangement adding an epic feel to the song. However the guitars sound more prominent than a lot of the material on their debut album Within Here Lies Pain and lean more towards black metal with tremolo picked guitars at the forefront. The most notable new element is the usage of melodic vocals which are well balanced out with low and high screams from the band's new frontman. The track is available for free download on the band's Bandcamp page and can be heard below.
Awakening is due to be released Tuesday, May 1st and will feature a guest solo from Arch Enemy/ex-Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis according to the band's Facebook page. The Human Tragedy's full length debut album Within Here Lies Pain was ranked 20th on our Top Metal Albums Of 2017 list.
